Tips in this Tour:
The weather in Bariloche is fairly mild (think Northern California). It is still important to bring a warm jacket, rain protection, and a good pair of walking shoes. The trails are great regardless of the weather because of the thick vegetation.
Make sure to bring a nice set of clothes to wear out on the town, in addition to active wear. Bariloche is a metropolitan city and there is an active dining scene and nightlife.
If traveling to Bariloche during high season, make sure to book all reservations (such as a car rental and boat excursions) well in advance. This helps alleviate the headaches of overbooking, and saves you a lot of money: prices increase dramatically near high season.
Be sure to bring a camera that you feel comfortable operating, since Bariloche is full of wonderful picture opportunities.
Have an extra day in Argentina? Travel to Villa La Angostura or El Bolson. Villa La Angostura offers a sophisticated mountain feel with amazing views. El Bolson, on the other hand, is a hippie colony that offers an impressive river valley landscape and one of the country's best craft fairs.
Update for Tour Customers: Two businesses, 594 San Martin and Huesos, have closed since the Bariloche Tour was produced.
