Tips in this Tour:   Read More
Although you can drive separately, or enlist in a guided tour embarking from Dublin, it is recommended that you take this tour through the Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre. In doing so you will have the opportunity to brief yourself on the history of the sites and then customize your tour of Ireland's County Meath to suit your needs.
Be sure to carry your student ID card: you can get a discount!
As always, while in Ireland, dress in layers - and make sure the top layer is waterproof! The local weather has a habit of springing unexpected bouts of rain on its occupants, and since most of this tour is outdoors, you don't want to be caught without your rain jacket.
Newgrange and The Hill of Tara are two of the most popular sites, but that doesn't mean the other places aren't worth seeing as well! While at the Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre, take some time to see which sites will work best for you.
Again, this tour is mostly outdoors and in very rural areas. It's smart to pack light snacks to tide you over since you will be far from a cafe or eatery.

Click to see how our tours display--tons of images with either text or narration--much better than any audio tour because you can see the sites. It's like having a friend show you around, with priceless advice and insider information, to enjoy at your own pace. Our samples feature different locations throughout the year.
