Epcot For Families

Walt Disney World's Epcot is a unique theme park with a long history. The final incarnation of Walt's vision for a utopian model city, Epcot remains a showcase for world harmony and exciting new technology. In this tour, a former Cast Member (Disney-speak for employee) will serve as your personal guide, helping you navigate the park like a pro. You will visit world-class attractions and exciting theatrical presentations that are carefully designed to engage all members of the family, regardless of age. Along the way, you will learn a great deal about the history of this unique family destination. This tour is cross-generational: to focus on young children, try the "Kids' Trip to Disney's Epcot."

If you visit Epcot on a night that the Magic Kingdom stays open later, consider taking the monorail round trip after Epcot closes. The tracks run through Future World, and the view is truly breathtaking late at night after most guests have departed.
Small children may become bored or restless during some of Epcot's longer attractions. Keep their interest by visiting the many "Kidcot" stations throughout the park. These areas offer special cultural activities for younger children.
Engage all members of the family in planning your trip to Epcot. Feeling responsible for certain decisions, such as where to eat or when to visit certain attractions, gives them a sense of ownership. This can also help to avoid meltdowns, as everyone knows what to expect.
Many families find that table-service dining in Epcot's countries completes their experience. Reservations are strongly suggested, particularly during busier seasons. Lunch prices are significantly lower than dinner, though the menus are similar. To beat the crowds, dine at off times.
A number of guidebooks recommend taking a midday hotel break. Rather than spend your time commuting, however, why not find a place to relax inside the park instead? Join other guests napping on a well-manicured lawn; plan a long, late lunch break, or enjoy a picnic in the shade.

Click to see how our tours display--tons of images with either text or narration--much better than any audio tour because you can see the sites. It's like having a friend show you around, with priceless advice and insider information, to enjoy at your own pace. Our samples feature different locations throughout the year.
