The table-service restaurants are able to accommodate virtually any special dietary needs. Ask to speak to a chef when you arrive or, for more restrictive diets, call 407-WDW-DINE at least two weeks in advance. You will be able to plan your meals with a Disney dietician.
Central Florida weather can be unpredictable. When visiting Hollywood Studios, wear plenty of sunscreen, drink lots of water, and carry a rain poncho. If you get chilled easily, carry a light sweater or jacket to wear indoors, as the air conditioning can be intense.
Table-service meals could be considered attractions in their own right. Plan to spend at least an hour and a half enjoying the experience.
Many guidebooks recommend taking a midday hotel break, but commuting takes a great deal of time. Instead, consider seeing an indoor show during the hot afternoon, or join other guests napping on a well-manicured lawn.
Do not waste too much time shopping during the day. The shops along Hollywood Boulevard are generally open for at least an hour after park closing, and carry much of the same merchandise found throughout the park.
