Involve your kids in planning your day at Epcot. Making small decisions such as where to eat lunch helps them feel empowered and gives them a sense of pride. If they are responsible enough, consider letting them carry their own spending money as well.
This is a huge park, and some kids get over-stimulated by all the excitement. The park is filled with secluded benches in shady spots, so take frequent rest breaks. Encourage your kids to snuggle with you, and they may just fall asleep.
Table-service restaurants are a great place to introduce your kids to new cuisines. Adult portions tend to be large, so if you aren't sure if your kids will like something, consider sharing a plate with them.
Epcot offers a seemingly endless list of street performers, and it is extremely difficult to see them all in one day. Make a list of your "must sees," and allow some extra time to catch others along the way.
Although many guidebooks suggest a midday hotel break, just getting back to your hotel takes a lot of time. Instead, why not plan a long lunch or join other guests napping on a well-manicured lawn?
