Wildlife attractions are one of the key reasons that Tampa, Florida, is a vacation Mecca. Busch Gardens is Tampa's most visited site. Add to that the lesser known but equally fun Lowry Park Zoo, Florida Aquarium, and Big Cat Rescue.

Tips in this Tour:
At Big Cat Rescue, tours are offered only at specific times and require appointments. You cannot just wander in.  Check their website tour info page for different type tours and reservations. http://www.bigcatrescue.org/tours.htm
Busch Gardens and Lowry Park Zoo are the two largest attractions. It is advisable not to try to do both on the same day. Actually, if you have the time, each attraction makes a nice day's outing.
With the exception of Big Cat Rescue, each of  the attractions will give you a map and time schedule for shows when you enter. At Big Cat you will be escorted by a staff member.
Wildlife is normally more active when the weather is cooler.
For Big Cat Rescue, bring a bottle of water. Once the tour begins you will not have access to drinks as you will at the other attractions.
